Lamma is a short ferry ride from Central, with narrow lanes, seafood restaurants, craft workshops, cafés and small temples; the Lamma Family Trail joins its two ferry piers, Yung Shue Wan and Sok Kwu Wan (HKTB).
The trail
The Lamma Family Trail runs between Yung Shue Wan and Sok Kwu Wan (HKTB).
Getting there
Ferries leave Central Pier 4, a five-minute walk from Hong Kong Station; the crossing takes about 30 to 40 minutes (HKTB).
Walk one way and take the ferry back from the other pier.
Our advice: end with seafood at Sok Kwu Wan.
