About Wan Chai: the back story

Wan Chai mixes old Hong Kong with new towers: Fook Lam Moon and Kam’s Roast Goose, the Blue House, a restored 1920s tong lau (HKTB), and The St. Regis with two two-starred restaurants.

Old Wan Chai

The Blue House is a Grade I historic building and home to the Hong Kong House of Stories (HKTB); Hung Shing Temple once stood on the shore (HKTB).

Dining

Rùn and L’Envol at The St. Regis, Fook Lam Moon on Johnston Road, and Ship Kee in the Hopewell Centre.

Come hungry.

Our advice: ride the tram along Johnston Road.
